I certainly appreciated it. :) I think attending events like this is an invaluable part of business, not just because of the information provided by some amazing speakers, but also, as Kay said, from the motivation and mixing with other attendees. Not to take away from the quality of the speakers I think the real value was meeting other like minded people. And generally people who paid for the upgrade had a lot more skin in the game than the ones in the free seats. Having said that, Ginsberg's infomercial marathon reminded me of a bad tv evangelist - "you too can live the life you deserve - we'll tell you how - if you sign up at our today only low low price...")
