Thanks Nerida - another option to add into the collection of research. Love the roll-out keyboard idea.

I have just upgraded to an HTC2600i to reduce the clutter and weight in my handbag. It is a smart phone with the usual features of a phone plus Word, Excel and Powerpoint, GPS and maps and on a $5/mth plan with 3 I also receive email and can check the news when I'm waiting somewhere or do a bit of web surfing - checking forums etc. It is great with a bluetooth headset as well so I'm not holding a pda size phone to my ear. I love it. Have just bought a roll out keyboard (hardly weighs anything)which bluetooths to the smartphone too. (yes I'm a geek too!) That way on some occasions I don't need to take my laptop.
