Marketing Tip – Low cost marketing ideas
January 14th, 2008 by Ingrid Cliff
I am always on the look-out for great low-cost marketing ideas for small business and found these ideas on the Tall Poppy Blog. While they are written in the context of party planners getting bookings – the ideas are directly applicable for any small business wanting appointments or sales from clients.
And the best and simplest idea … simply ask for an appointment with every contact!
Here’s a link to the full post if you would like some more low cost ideas.
Until next time

Hi Ingrid,
Thank you for the mention. I believe that we can learn a lot from party planners about managing a business. It is such a variable and volatile world to work in that the solutions they have devised are bound to apply to aspects of our own businesses.
Thanks again.

Very true – I must admit that due to the volatile world you mentioned Anne – that I wouldn’t really consider it a full time option. For those brave souls that do we can learn a lot!

Sometimes it’s the simple things, like ‘just asking’, that are overlooked, aren’t they?
