Ever been in the flow?
September 27th, 2007 by Ingrid Cliff
This week I was lucky enough to address the Australian College of Pharmacists about the challenges of blending pharmacy and human resources.
My original brief was for 20minutes content and a few questions. Well … 2 hours later we were still in full flight. I have been asked back for another session on marketing to Baby Boomers, Gen X&Y customers.
I know my voice was crackly and I am sure the video (when it is uploaded to their site) will create all sorts of embarassment for me in looking back at it … but the funny thing was at the time I was just downloading information and letting it all flow without worrying too much about things.
That’s not to say that I hadn’t prepared hard for the session, with a number of run-throughs of content before the night.
That’s the thing about flow – when you are in it you lose track of time and things seem to come effortlessly. But, you need to have already prepared to allow it to happen.
Where have you been in the flow lately? I would love to hear your experiences
Until next time
Ingrid
